Additional Requirements

The Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (ICT) has a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of its programs and services. Employees of the Ministry are not eligible to apply to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), either as a principal applicant or an accompanying family or act as a supporting family member on an application. ICT employees and their immediate family members cannot have ownership or interests in a business or undertaking that recruits workers through the SINP.

Technical Abilities

  • Knowledge of Law enforcement agencies roles and responsibilities with a history of conducting and handling complex investigations.
  • Knowledge of evidence gathering rules and statement taking.
  • Managing complex disclosure processes.
  • Managing appeals, escalated complaints, and judicial reviews
  • Interpreting and administering Federal or provincial laws, or immigration legislations is an asset.
  • Preferences to candidates with law enforcement background and specifically Criminal Investigation experience.
