As our electrical division continues to grow, we are seeking a licensed electrician to join our field team and support the successful delivery of our projects.
Position Summary
The Licensed Electrician is responsible for performing electrical installations, service, and repairs on construction, residential and commercial job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safe, high-quality work. You will collaborate closely with project management and field teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and to code.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades on residential and commercial projects
- Install and service lighting systems, switches, receptacles, panels, and circuit breakers
- Connect power to communication systems, signalling devices, HVAC equipment, and pool systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and replace faulty components as required
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Ensure all work complies with ESA regulations and Ontario Electrical Code
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
- Communicate effectively with project managers, coordinators, inspectors, and other trades
Qualifications
- Valid 309A Electrical License (required)
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
- Valid G-class driver's license (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Occasional Saturdays required during Spring/Summer peak season
- In-person role at active job sites
