Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience in both industrial and construction settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete electrical installations and repairs
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other diagnostic tools
  • Conduct renovations involving electrical work, ensuring all installations meet local codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and safety standards
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment related to electrical work
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Service vehicle provided after probational period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
