We are a leading maxillofacial clinic dedicated to providing exceptional patient care situated in downtown Montreal, easily accessible by metro.

We specialize in oral surgery, implantology and advanced dental procedures in a compassionate and state-of-the art environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dental assistant to join our dynamic surgical practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our maxillofacial surgeons and dental team to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for dental health.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up operatories and equipment for procedures.
  • Assist oral surgeons during procedures, including extractions, implants and other surgical procedures/ treatments.
  • Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols.
  • Take x-rays and digital images as required.
  • Ensure patient comfort before, during and after procedure.
  • Provide postoperative instructions and follow-up care guidance to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software program.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including answering phones, appointment scheduling and managing patient inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Dental Assisting - REQUIRED
  • Experience as a dental assistant - REQUIRED 1 year
  • Experience in oral surgery or a surgical dental setting is an advantage - ASSET
  • Bilingual (French and English) - REQUIRED
  • Reception/front desk experience in a dental setting: (AN ASSET)

Nous recherchons un assistant dentaire dévoué et qualifié pour rejoindre notre pratique chirurgicale dynamique. Le candidat idéal jouera un rôle crucial dans le soutien de nos chirurgiens maxillofacials et de notre équipe dentaire pour assurer des opérations efficaces et d'excellents soins aux patients.

Ce poste exige de solides compétences en communication, une attention aux détails et une passion pour la santé dentaire.

RESPONSABILITÉS :

  • Préparer et installer les salles opératoires et l'équipement pour les procédures.
  • Assistance aux chirurgiens maxillofacials pendant les procédures, y compris les extractions, les implants et autres procédures/traitements chirurgicaux.
  • Stériliser et entretenir les instruments et équipements chirurgicaux conformément aux protocoles.
  • Prendre des radiographies et des images numériques selon les besoins.
  • Assurer le confort du patient avant, pendant et après la procédure.
  • Fournir des instructions postopératoires et des conseils de suivi aux patients.
  • Tenir à jour des dossiers précis des patients à l'aide d'un logiciel dentaire.
  • Assurer le respect des protocoles de contrôle des infections et maintenir un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire.
  • Gérer efficacement la planification des rendez-vous et le flux des patients.
  • Aider aux tâches administratives, notamment répondre au téléphone, planifier les rendez-vous et gérer les demandes des patients.

  • Bilingue (français et anglais) - OBLIGATOIRE
