WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic indiviuals, who are passionate about working in the food & beverage indisutry As the Bartender at Rocky Crest, you will be an integral part of the front of house operations. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing a high level of customer service and is able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide assistance to servers in the restaurant and/or patio with table service to guests
  • Assist with set up and tear down of banquet functions
  • Provide guests with beverage selections, both alcoholic and non alcoholic
  • Prepare beverages in accordance with provincial liquor laws and resorts standards
  • Maintain inventory of beers, wines and spirits
  • Set up and dismantling of bars - both service and public
  • Upsell products to guests
  • Responsible for personal shift accounting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years bartending experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independently
  • A self-starter and team player
  • Smart Serve certification required
  • Extensive knowledge of beers, wines, spirits and specialty drinks
  • Able to work in high demand situations
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be available to work into the fall
