Position Overview

We are currently hiring Security Officers to provide security and safety services at retail and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and customer-service focused with a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid BC Security Worker License (mandatory)*
  • High School Diploma or equivalent*
  • Previous security experience in retail, commercial, or customer-service settings is an asset*
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills*
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations*
  • Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods*
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays*

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors
  • Monitor site activity and respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
  • Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Provide assistance and exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants
  • Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports as required
  • Act as a visible deterrent to theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities
  • Work collaboratively with site management and local law enforcement when necessary
