Our client is looking for an experienced
Wills & Estates Law Clerk
to join their team in Barrie. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about estate planning and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and related estate documents
- Prepare and manage estate administration materials, including probate applications and trustee accounts
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, executors, and beneficiaries
- Maintain the Wills Vault and handle document storage/retrieval requests
- Assist with estate filings, releases, and Estate Information Returns
- Support general file management and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Minimum
3 years' experience
in Wills & Estates law - Law Clerk Diploma
required - Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient with
MS Office, Estate-a-base, and Soluno - High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
