Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and the Casa Montessori program goals
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Monitor and assess children's developmental progress, maintaining detailed written records
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with various learning needs
  • Utilize computer skills for report writing, lesson planning, and communication purposes
  • Manage classroom organization efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Lead activities that promote social skills, creativity, and critical thinking
  • Maintain professional development by staying current with best practices in early childhood education

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
  • Knowledge of special education techniques and working with children with disabilities is advantageous
  • Experience in bilingual teaching environments or language acquisition programs is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French are desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, organizational skills, and time management are essential for success in this role
  • Proven ability to develop engaging curriculum plans and adapt to diverse learning needs
  • Familiarity with classroom technology tools and computer operation for educational purposes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.21-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
