Known for our friendly small-town service and large truck/SUV inventory, we're looking for a highly organized, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our Sales Team as a Delivery Co-oridnator / Inventory Manager
This hybrid role combines vehicle delivery coordination, inventory lot management, and day-to-day support for the GSM.
Position Summary
As an assitant to the GSM ensure all new and used vehicle deliveries are professionally prepared and executed while maintaining an organized, visually appealing dealership lot. This role works closely with the sales team, detailers, technicians, and customers to ensure vehicles are properly accessorized, detailed, staged, and delivered with exceptional care.
You are the key link between sales, service, inventory readiness, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vehicle Delivery Co-ordination
- Oversee the full preparation process for every new and used vehicle delivery
- Ensure all requested accessories (GM accessories, add-ons, protection packages, etc.) are installed accurately and on time
- Confirm each vehicle is fully detailed, cleaned, fuelled, and presented to dealership standards
- Perform a full quality-control inspection before customer delivery
- Communicate with customers and sales staff to coordinate delivery appointments
- Conduct each delivery appointment personally, including:
- Reviewing all key vehicle features, controls, and technology
- Assisting with phone pairing, OnStar activation, MyChevrolet/MyGMC app setup, and personalization settings
- Explaining service intervals, warranty coverage, and dealership processes
- Ensuring the customer understands their vehicle and feels confident using all its features
- Ensure customers leave fully satisfied and informed
- Follow up after delivery to confirm satisfaction and offer ongoing support
2. Inventory & Lot Management
- Keep the dealership lot organized, clean, well-structured, and visually appealing
- Arrange vehicles by model, trim, and sales priority to optimize flow and appearance
- Move, park, and stage vehicles for display, test drives, and photography
- Maintain accurate vehicle location tracking
- Monitor inventory for cleanliness, battery charge, tire condition, and any damage
- Manage keys and ensure secure, accurate check-in/check-out procedures
- Assist with dealer trades, inventories, vehicle shuttles, and stock transfers
3. Sales Department Support
- Assist the General Sales Manager with daily operational tasks
- Support sales staff by preparing vehicles for demos, appointments, and test drives
- Help maintain showroom vehicles and in-store display standards
- Upload and organize vehicle photos, window stickers, and inventory details
- Track incoming inventory, including arrival timing, transport status, PDI progress, and detail completion
- Help with signage, lot marketing materials, and seasonal display updates
- Provide general administrative and logistical support as required
QualificationsRequired
- Valid G-class driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Able to work outdoors year-round
- Confident and safe vehicle operation ( SUVs, LD trucks, HD trucks)
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred
- Prior dealership or automotive experience
- Familiarity with GM vehicle lineup and technology
- Ability to drive manual transmission (asset, not required)
- Experience with dealership software (Quorum, vAuto, Homenet, etc.)
