We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Manager to lead our Sourcing, Procurement, and Payables functions. This role is critical to improving procurement efficiency and driving stronger negotiation outcomes with vendors. You will ensure optimal contractual results while meeting all payment requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational expertise with the ability to manage relationships with internal business partners and assist internal teams with the end-to-end process of acquiring goods and services essential for company success. You will also ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and contribute to BlackBerry's mission to secure a trustworthy, connected future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the procure-to-pay teams, fostering a culture of efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement..
  • Drive process optimization within NetSuite to improve procurement workflows and overall efficiency..
  • Negotiate procurement contracts to achieve best-in-class pricing and terms, leveraging direct vendor engagement or VAR relationships..
  • Collaborate with Contract Services to ensure favorable contract terms and risk mitigation..
  • Ensure proper vendor vetting, onboarding, and adherence to approval workflows..
  • Oversee accounts payable operations, including managing internal expectations..
  • Supervise expense management through Expensify (expense management system) and travel management via Egencia (corporate travel platform)..
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and deliver on cost reduction and value creation targets..
  • Stay informed on market trends and emerging suppliers to support strategic sourcing decisions..

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field..
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or P2P leadership roles..
  • Strong negotiation skills and a legal mindset for contract review and risk management..
  • Proven ability to lead process re-engineering and system optimization (NetSuite experience preferred)..
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills..
