We are looking for a permanent full-time certified level II dental assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Assisting experience in all facets of general dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with dental software such as Abel for patient management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A commitment to maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential Level II
  • Proficient in medical terminology and dental assisting techniques
  • Experience with dental software such as Abel
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction
