Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company's finances, including budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software to support the organization's financial health and strategic goals.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems such as SPIRE, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for efficient financial management.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management on financial performance and trends.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Experience with payroll processing, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account analysis is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
