The Opportunity

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries for a designated portfolio.
  • Provide advice to leaders of all levels regarding BC Employment Standards, Human Rights Legislation and WorkSafe BC compliance.
  • Support and advise managers throughout performance management and progressive discipline processes.
  • Support change management processes, whether structural or cultural, with appropriate HR best practices so that changes are smooth and embedded effectively.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Three to Five years' experience in a Human Resources role preferred
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation preferred
  • Registered Professional Recruiter Designation an asset
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered

Wage Range:
The target hiring range for this position is $ to $ per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
