Job Summary
iPSS Inc. is seeking a Proposal Writer to join our Ottawa-based team. This role will support our Cybersecurity Solutions Division by developing compelling proposals, managing RFP processes, and creating business development content that reflects our expertise in securing critical IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate closely with technical and sales teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the proposal development process from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements and iPSS's cybersecurity capabilities.
- Coordinate input from technical experts, sales teams, and subject matter specialists to produce accurate and persuasive proposals.
- Prepare business development content that highlights iPSS's cybersecurity solutions, certifications, and compliance expertise.
- Maintain brand consistency and messaging across all written materials.
- Support administrative tasks related to RFP submissions and prequalification packages.
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in proposal writing, marketing, or communications, preferably in cybersecurity, IT, or technology sectors.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or related fields.
- Strong writing and research skills with the ability to translate technical cybersecurity concepts into clear, client-focused language.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with SharePoint is an asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
