Here at Bigelow Flooring, you'll work with a team of people who are the trusted flooring partner for homeowners, builders and commercial clients across Southwestern Ontario. We blend design expertise with reliable installation and we need you to be the linchpin between our installation team and our sales team.

You'll work on-site where the action is.

You'll review projects and match the right expert to get it done. You'll ensure materials are ready on-time, that clients and installers have all the information they need for a productive day. Your voice will be the one of confidence as things invariably change and someone needs to save the day. .

You'll start early to get the day going, then set up for the next day before checking in with crews to make sure everything is on track for the next day.

This is an in-person, full-time role in Guelph, Ontario. Hours: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM Monday–Friday with one hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute unpaid breaks. Occasional weekend or evening check-ins required. Salaried position based on 44 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust installation schedules to meet project timelines and client expectations, matching crew skills with product requirements.
• Oversee the Warehouse Coordinator and Warehouse Associate: assign priorities, monitor material staging and delivery windows, and ensure 100% readiness for same-day pickups.
• Act as the primary scheduling contact for sales, procurement, warehouse, installers, and clients; resolve conflicts and update stakeholders via phone, email, and text.
• Utilize scheduling software to track job progress, installer capacity, and forecasting; generate reports on efficiency and delays for Operations Manager review.
• Proactively identify risks, implement solutions, and continuously improve workflows to achieve 98% on-time project completion.
• Understand flooring materials and match appropriate installers to each job type.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration, logistics, or project coordination an asset.
• 3+ years in scheduling, project coordination, or construction operations; flooring or finish trades experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and personalities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable learning new systems including scheduling or ERP software.
• Confident problem solver with understanding of plans, measurements, material handling, and floor covering installation processes.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and clean driving record required.
