We are seeking enthusiastic detail-oriented individuals to fill a vacancy which exists for a Maintenance Operations Controller.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Maintenance Operations Controller is responsible for all aspects related to the technical Dispatch of Air Canada aircraft in compliance with the MCM (Maintenance Control Manual).
Qualifications:
- Possess an A.M.E. M2 or E License or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in Maintenance Operations Control with ACA or Company Certification Authority.
- Proven knowledge of programs/agencies (Maintenance Control Manual, Transport Canada, FAA).
- Willingness to work shifts and at times extended hours.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability for teamwork.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills both (oral & written).
- Ability to deal effectively with internal/external customers.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Sound judgment and strong sense of initiative in taking appropriate actions.
- Ability to provide direction and clear instructions on technical matters.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- External or internal management development.
- Computer skills (Word, E-Mail, Excel, Windows).
- Shift work is a requirement for this position.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant du chef de permanence, le contrôleur – Activités de maintenance est responsable de tous les aspects liés à la régulation technique des appareils Air Canada conformément au Manuel de contrôle de la maintenance.
Qualifications :
- Licence valide de technicien d'entretien d'aéronef (M2 ou E) avec approbation active pour tout type d'appareil du parc aérien d'Air Canada.
- Connaissances éprouvées des programmes et des agences de réglementation (Manuel de contrôle de la maintenance, Transports Canada, FAA).
- Disponibilité pour travailler par postes, et faire des heures prolongées à l'occasion.
- Excellentes habiletés pour les relations interpersonnelles et le travail d'équipe.
- Excellente capacité d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
- Excellentes compétences en communications en anglais (orale et écrite).
- Habileté à traiter efficacement avec les clients internes et externes.
- Talent avéré pour le leadership.
- Bon jugement et bon sens de l'initiative en prenant les mesures appropriées.
- Capacité à guider les gens et à donner des directives claires sur les questions techniques.
- Habileté à travailler avec un minimum de supervision
- Perfectionnement de la gestion externe ou interne.
- Compétences en informatique (Word, courriel, Excel, Windows).
- Faire preuve de ponctualité et de fiabilité pour soutenir le succès global de l'équipe dans un milieu trépidant.
