Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in education or related fields. As a Camp Leader, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for campers while facilitating educational activities that promote growth and development.

Duties

  • Plan, organize, and implement daily camp activities that are age-appropriate and aligned with educational goals.
  • Supervise campers to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all campers.
  • Provide guidance and support to campers in various activities, including arts and crafts, sports, and educational workshops.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive camp experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the camp facilities and equipment.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred.
  • Background in early childhood education or tutoring is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge on plant care, soil health, pest management (not required, but a bonus)
  • Strong Teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
