The Role at High Level:

We're looking for a talented Partner Account Manager who doesn't shy away from tackling hard problems and interesting (well, most times) subjects like payroll and HR technology. You'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Wagepoint partners through structured relationship management and commercial execution. You will report directly to our Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 CAD + $25,000K variable.

What You'll Be Expected To Own:

  • Build and manage strong relationships with partners to ensure long-term engagement and success.

  • Develop and execute plans to grow partner accounts and increase Wagepoint adoption.

  • Align partners with strategic initiatives by clearly communicating the purpose, value, and timeline of upcoming changes, securing their commitment, and supporting them through the transition process.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, Support, and Implementation to coordinate partner initiatives, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned and moving toward shared goals.

  • Attend onsite partner meetings and participate in field events when there's a meaningful opportunity to deepen relationships, drive alignment, or support critical growth or migration plans.

  • Keep your CRM records clean, detailed, and up to date by logging partner activities, maintaining accurate account plans, updating pipelines, and ensuring complete data across all required fields.

  • Manage and resolve partner escalations while working proactively to prevent recurring issues.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B account management, partner management, customer success, or sales.

  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with clear planning and prioritization.

  • Experience driving change or adoption within customer or partner organizations.

  • Comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot to manage your pipeline and track performance.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite meetings or partner events.

Bonus points if:

  • You've worked with accounting or bookkeeping firms, payroll, or small business software.

  • You are bilingual in French and English.

  • You have experience with partner migration or implementation programs.

  • You've contributed to the development of partner programs or enablement content.

  • You've worked in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
