The Role
We're looking for a reliable and dedicated
AZ Driver/Shunter
to join our unionized team This is a
part-time
opportunity, working
night shifts (10:00 P.M - 6:00 A.M)
in a 24/7 operation. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine both driving and shunting experience at one of our Ottawa Distribution Centre. The duties will vary depending on the needs of the business, ensuring a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Location
On-site at the Ottawa Distribution Centre.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate shunt trucks and position trailers for loading and unloading, including reversing of trucks within the yard
• Perform walkround inspections of truck to ensure readiness and able to report any visible issues
• Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
• Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
• Ensure the company's Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
• Exemplify the Company's dedication to customer service
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education

• Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid AZ/DZ license in good standing with a clear abstract

Experience

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Previous beverage delivery experience is considered an asset

Skills

• Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
• Above average communication and interpersonal skills
