Job Description
Altura Transport Ltd. is seeking a Dispatcher Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, coordinating transportation schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers.
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and updates.
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve issues and delays proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations is an asset.
