Job Title: General Manager – Fuel & QSR Portfolio (Tim Hortons Co-Locations)

Location: Eastern Canada (On-site, Full-time, with regional travel)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proven operator to lead a portfolio of gas station and convenience retail sites featuring co-located Tim Hortons quick-service restaurants. The General Manager will be responsible for multi-site operations, financial performance, and team leadership across the region. This role requires balancing the operational dynamics of both fuel retail and QSR, while ensuring consistency in guest experience, compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of gas station and Tim Hortons co-located sites


• Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence across multiple revenue streams (fuel, convenience retail, QSR)


• Develop and lead site managers and frontline teams, fostering a culture of accountability, service, and performance


• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations


• Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control at both site and portfolio level


• Collaborate with franchisor (Tim Hortons/RBI) and fuel brand partners to ensure brand standards are consistently met


• Identify growth opportunities in sales, traffic, and operational efficiency


• Lead training, recruitment, and succession planning to build strong leadership pipelines across the network


• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, compliance, and operational execution

Qualifications


• Proven leadership experience in multi-unit retail, QSR, fuel/convenience, or franchise operations


• Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, P&L oversight, and performance metrics


• In-depth knowledge of operational best practices in both foodservice and fuel/convenience retail


• Excellent communication, organizational, and people management abilities


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred)


• Prior experience managing Tim Hortons or similar QSR franchise operations considered a strong asset


• Willingness to travel regularly within Eastern Canada to oversee sites

Compensation & Benefits


• Competitive base salary: $80,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience
