Job Overview
At The Core Home Health is seeking a Team Coordinator to provide temporary coverage during a medical leave. This role supports daily operations, staff coordination, in-home client consults, and hiring activities to ensure continuity of high-quality home care services.
This is a hands-on, hybrid position that involves both administrative work and community-based responsibilities. The successful candidate must be comfortable traveling throughout the Kawartha Lakes region, conducting in-home consults, and responding to time-sensitive operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate staff schedules, coverage, and daily operational needs
- Manage call-ins, urgent staffing issues, and last-minute changes
- Participate in on-call rotation every other weekend
- Conduct in-home client consults and service assessments
- Travel throughout the Kawartha Lakes region as required
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of staff
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and care staff
- Support first visits, service start-ups, and operational coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Experience in home care, healthcare coordination, or staffing
- Experience conducting in-home client consults or assessments
- Experience with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Willing and able to commute throughout the Kawartha Lakes region
- Availability for on-call rotation every other weekend
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Work Environment
- Hybrid role (administrative and community-based work)
- Regular local travel required
- Occasional evenings or flexible hours based on operational needs
Contract Details
This is a temporary position covering a medical leave from January 19, 2026 to March 20, 2026. The position will conclude at the end of the contract term unless extended in writing.
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
