Position Description:

We are a full-service legal firm of 19 lawyers with a full complement of support staff. Our Firm is seeking a qualified Licensed Paralegal to join our team. The position will manage a caseload of small claims, employment, human rights and landlord and tenant matters under the supervision of a Senior Litigation Partner. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting one-on-one with clients, preparing and filing various legal documents as it relates to cases, conducting research, along with a variety of administrative tasks required in the process of organizing and maintaining files. Preference will be given to a candidate that has completed a university degree, or related experience. We are prepared to train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate must hold a valid P1 License and be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, have superior attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and excellent time management skills. The candidate will also have a client-focused attitude with an eagerness to develop expertise in a fast-paced environment to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.

Salary commensurate with experience.
