Rockstar is on the lookout for an Associate Animator who is skilled at motion capture animation.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's unique game development studio in Oakville, ON.
WHAT WE DO- The Motion Capture Animation team collaborates with our global teams to produce character animations.
- We work with bleeding-edge technology to capture actors' movement, facial, and audio data to create photorealistic content.
- We are responsible for bringing actors' performances to life through precise data tracking and character solving.
- Process motion capture data through proprietary pipelines.
- Retarget motion capture data to game assets.
- Work collaboratively with the global team to achieve goals, uphold animation quality, and share knowledge.
- 2 years of experience with character animation or motion capture.
- 2 years of experience with Motion Builder.
- A demo reel showcasing your animation work.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, interested in games and curious about how things work.
- Adaptable and flexible, able to quickly adjust to changing priorities and new challenges.
Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.
- Knowledge of Linux.
- A good understanding of game animation pipelines.
