Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Allnorth Consultants Limited Full time

About Allnorth

BIG ENOUGH TO KNOW HOW, SMALL ENOUGH TO KNOW YOU

Allnorth is a multi-disciplinary engineering, project delivery, and construction services company. We provide smart and practical project solutions to clients in the metals and minerals, energy and renewables, fiber and chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. With offices across Canada, and into the US and Mexico, we continue to grow

Our team is our most valuable asset, and a triple bottom line (TBL) philosophy is at the heart of our business. It takes a talented, motivated and empowered team to delight our clients, driving profitability for all parties. When it comes to guiding principles, safety is part of our DNA, we are committed to building and nurturing Indigenous relationships, we support our communities, and we recognize the importance of environmental stewardship.

Our Opportunity

Allnorth is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join our Vancouver team. This role focuses on project execution and client coordination, working across multiple technical disciplines rather than serving as a discipline-specific technical lead. Our Vancouver team works primarily on projects in the infrastructure, energy and mining sectors, but also supports projects across all sectors covered by Allnorth.

As the primary point of contact for assigned projects, you will coordinate internal teams, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and ensure client expectations are consistently met. Success in this role is driven by strong organization, communication, and the ability to lead diverse technical teams toward a common goal.

This is a full-time role based out of our Vancouver office. Allnorth allows for hybrid work arrangements, but the expectation would be for a minimum of three days per week in office.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will:

  • Manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects from proposal through execution and close-out.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate engineers, designers, and project team members across multiple disciplines.
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project performance and proactively manage scope, schedule, cost, safety performance and risk mitigation. Allnorth works with the BST software package for tracking of project costs and performance.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Support proposal development, fee estimates, and project resourcing.
  • Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities early and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor new project managers and project coordinators to help them develop their skills.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering, construction, or technical services
  • 5+ years of project management experience in an engineering, technical services, or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and cost tracking
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Organized, proactive, and solution-focused approach
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable formal project management training is considered an asset.
  • Registration as a professional engineer or eligibility for registration is considered an
    asset.

What's in it for you?

We believe that a happy and fulfilled team leads to exceptional results, which is why we offer a range of perks designed to support your well-being, career growth, and community engagement:

  • Work schedule and location flexibility to support work-life balance
  • Comprehensive benefits package including extended health and dental coverage and RRSP matching
  • Employee Assistance Program for team members and their families
  • A culture of respect and inclusivity that fosters long-term relationships and teamwork
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
  • Team Member Referral Program
  • Monthly "Lunch & Learn" sessions
  • Opportunities to get involved in social and safety committees, fundraising, and community initiatives (e.g. Movember, Pi Day, Food Banks, Women's Shelters, Ronald McDonald House, Earth Day clean-ups, and more)

WE TAKE CARE OF YOU SO YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF OUR CLIENTS

At Allnorth, you'll take on meaningful, career-building challenges while being supported by a team that values collaboration, accountability, and growth.

Allnorth is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected status. Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
