Job Description

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services in partnership with CreeQues are looking to hire experienced Manual Snow Removal/Janitor candidates to join our Snow Removal/Janitorial Team at our Lodge near Cochrane, Northern ON.

The Snow Removal/Janitor Worker is responsible for manual snow removal, sanding all entrances, exits and walkways of the property. Cleaning assigned areas in the janitorial department when there is no snow removal for the day.

  • Comprehensive benefit packages are offered.
  • Transportation is provided out of Timmins or Cochrane, ON
  • Travel Allowance is available for some areas that are further away.
  • Rotations are 14 days on site/14 days off site
  • A valid full driver's is required, as well as a Drivers Abstract

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check

Job Responsibilities
  • Log all maintenance issues
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times
  • Reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action
  • Moves and assists in moving snow at various facilities/sites
  • Exercises discretion in identifying projects requiring the services of a higher skilled crafts person
  • Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
  • Report to work on time and in complete uniform

Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in general maintenance
  • Basic maintenance skills and ability
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
  • Must have a valid and current US driver's license and must pass a motor vehicle record history check to operate equipment

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
