Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers placing orders for building supplies via phone, email, or in person.

Accurately process incoming orders, ensuring all details are recorded correctly and promptly in the system.

Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers, offering suitable alternatives when necessary.

Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to coordinate order fulfillment.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Maintain knowledge of the building supplies inventory, including product specifications and applications.

Offer product recommendations and suggest upselling opportunities to enhance the customer's shopping experience.

Prepare quotes for customers based on their specific requirements and follow up on pending quotes.

Assist with general administrative duties related to order processing and customer service.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to process orders accurately and efficiently.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Proficiency in using order management software and computer applications.

Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.

Knowledge of building supplies, materials, and their applications is beneficial.
