Job Description
  • The driver will be covering a Night Linehaul run that starts in New Liskeard on Sunday with a 5:00 pm start, travel to Sudbury switch trailers and return to New Liskeard, unload freight and load Rouyn-Noranda freight and continue to Rouyn-Noranda unload and return to New Liskeard.
  • Will be required to operate a forklift in house certification will be provided.
  • The work schedule will be Sunday Evening to Friday morning, with a departure time of 5:00 pm nightly.
  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods to designated destinations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance.
  • Adhere to all applicable transportation laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer.
Qualifications
  • Class 1 or AZ license required.
  • Ability to complete proper pre/post & inter trips.
  • Knowledge of ELD (Electronic Logging Devices.)
  • Knowledge of hours of service.
  • Knowledge of load securement TDG & WHMIS
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and hard working.
  • Must have experience operating a forklift
  • Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check, drivers abstract, and work related references.
