Position Description
MJ Roofing is looking for a Maintenance Department Supervisor to join our Operations Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of roofing maintenance processes.
Applicants should possess the following abilities and qualities:
- Exceptional knowledge of all flat roof systems and elements (BUR, SBS, EPDM, TPO, metal, etc.)
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Conflict resolution skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of roof maintenance technicians
- Schedule projects and assign technicians
- Training technicians on various roof systems, best practices, and company standards
- Evaluate technician performance
- Provide technical assistance for technicians performing roof leak investigations
- Collaborate with management on continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and Administrative teams to ensure an efficient workflow
- Review technician field reports for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health rules and regulations
- Inspect job sites for safety and quality compliance
- Onboard/Offboard technicians
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
