Line Cook

Please note this is not an immediate start position. This job will run from December 27th - mid March, ski season permitting.
As part of the team at The Nomad Home Chef, the Line is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service while preparing food orders within The North Lodge at Craigleith Ski Club. This role ensures the food are made correctly to order to support a positive guest dining experience.
Responsibilities
· Prepare all menu items according to recipes and standards
· Maintain quality, consistency, and visual appeal of food dishes
· Ensure prep stations are stocked and well cleaned
· Properly store and label food products
· Work with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely preparation of food
· Monitor inventory levels and inform manager of anything that needs restocking
· Clean stations at the beginning and end of each shift as well as throughout shift as required
· Support manager with any other tasks assigned
Skills
· Previous experience cooking required
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
· Flexibility with working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
· Attention to detail
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on feet for extended periods of time
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
