Support comfort behind the scenes. At Larga, we support guests from the Northwest Territories and Nunavut who travel to Edmonton for medical care. We provide a home away from home, and mealtime is at the heart of that experience. Our kitchen team ensures every meal is safely prepared and served — and it all starts with clean dishes and a spotless kitchen. We are looking for a dependable, hard-working Dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly. What You'll Do
  • Wash dishes, cookware, trays, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas — sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces, and remove garbage
  • Organize and restock clean dishes, cups, and utensils
  • Deep clean kitchen equipment, fridges, freezers, and storage areas as assigned
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitization procedures
  • Report any damaged or faulty equipment to the supervisor
  • Complete daily cleaning checklists and support kitchen staff as needed
  • Attend safety and team meetings and comply with all company procedures

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role (preferred, but not required)
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to working your full shift
  • Physically capable of lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing for long periods
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with heat, steam, and cleaning products
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and annual medical

Preferred:
  • Interest in growing in the kitchen or food service field
  • Familiarity with Indigenous cultures/languages
Current certifications (or willingness to obtain):
  • WHMIS
  • Food Safe
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Emergency Response & Fire Extinguisher Training
