Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service.
  • Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
  • Dispose of waste properly and keep trash areas clean.
  • Support the kitchen staff by providing clean supplies promptly during busy service periods.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong cleaning skills with a focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  • A background in hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial for understanding service expectations.
