Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated HSEQ Coordinator to oversee and promote health and safety standards within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting inspections, and fostering a culture of safety across operations.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify environmental health risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies tailored to the organization's needs.
  • Provide training and educational programs to staff on environmental health practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents related to environmental hazards or safety violations, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and external agencies to ensure ongoing compliance and address environmental concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, training sessions, and compliance records for audit purposes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging regulations, and technological advancements in environmental health.
  • Conduct daily and monthly safety meetings.
  • Compliance with reporting requirements for ISN.
  • Tracking statistical data and complete all reporting requirements.
  • Maintain company required health testing.
  • Travel to sites will be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in industrial blasting and coating preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in environmental health or occupational safety are preferred. (NCSO)
  • Must be familiar with ISN and reporting requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions, workshops, or development programs related to health and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate staff at all levels effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to identify hazards and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong administrative and organization skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and adapt to changing regulatory landscapes. This role is integral to maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace while supporting ongoing professional development within the organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 8-12 months

Pay: $55,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
