Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will work hands-on with Automation for aquaculture systems, providing installation, maintenance, and repair services both in the field and in the shop. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically inclined problem-solver who enjoys variety and working directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair aquaculture equipment at customer sites
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoot technical issues, delivering timely and effective solutions
  • Read and interpret schematics to support accurate troubleshooting and repairs
  • Perform computer networking tasks related to system operation
  • Apply mechanical expertise to identify and resolve hardware malfunctions
  • Work with low-voltage electrical systems safely and efficiently
  • Use hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment
  • Document service visits, repairs, and findings accurately and consistently

Required Qualifications

  • Strong ability to read and understand technical schematics
  • Solid knowledge of computer networking fundamentals
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience
  • Experience maintaining and repairing computer or electronic hardware
  • Proficiency using hand tools for equipment maintenance
  • Familiarity with low-voltage systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a field of service or technical support role
  • Any relevant technical certifications.
