In Practical Terms And Conditions Your Challenge
Reporting to the General Manager and providing real-time lateral management, you will have the following responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Act as the General Manager's right-hand man; Support and assist the growth of the group, including Distribution Horizon Nature and its internal brands, the Inéwa bakery, and Aliments Trigone.
  • Travel to various sectors of the group (local, regional, and national)
  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise distribution, supply, production, and inventory chain operations, and ensure efficient flow by implementing or optimizing automation and logistics systems.
  • Ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with production and safety standards.
  • Work in synergy with department supervisors; Team management and performance and proposing corrective actions
  • Coordination of the supply chain, inventories, and production
  • Proactively support the implementation and deployment of our IT system (towards NetSuite) as well as the strategic implementation of the automation of our production processes
  • Participate in the design, standardization, and implementation of operational standards, protocols, and procedures
  • Create an ambitious budget in terms of opportunities and cost control
  • Create annual and long-term operating plans with the management team
  • Determine capital needs based on the priorities and strategies of internal/external divisions/brands
  • Create popular and effective operational performance dashboards
  • Understand business processes and key performance indicators for different sectors and provide Support
  • Analyze similar industries to promote continuous improvement and improve our company's performance
  • Ensure the sustainability of knowledge, know-how, and interpersonal skills by creating a training plan for key leaders and their respective successors
  • Preserve and protect the company culture, in synergy with management and human resources, including establishing and maintaining healthy, trusting, transparent, and direct relationships with employees at all levels of the organization

YOUR PROFILE

  • BACC in business administration, operations management, and logistics, or significant experience deemed relevant
  • 5-10 years of experience in management, production, or team leadership
  • Experience in food distribution, a major asset
  • Good knowledge of regulatory standards in the food sector, a Asset
  • Experience in budget and financial performance management (P&L) is an asset
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as LEAN and Six Sigma is an asset
