Hours: Monday to Friday

Summary:
- This role provides 1:1 supports to a female individual in her home, encouraging independence while ensuring safety. Supports offered would include assisting with daily living activities (community outings and activities, household tasks, grocery shopping, meals, light housekeeping, and personal routine). Assist with mobility using a walker and ensuring safe transfers, and supporting and monitoring oxygen use as directed. This position also includes transportation, including handling the walker, and oxygen equipment (to Magrath to participate in activities at the SASH Community Access building, as well as appointments). This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain accurate and objective documentation.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Disability Supports and/or related education preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.
- A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
- Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are
- required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your
- current certification.
- Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver's license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.
Salary: $ $24.27 This is dependent on education.
