Regional Student Recruiter

VanWest College is looking for a Full-time Regional Student Recruiter for Brazilian Students.
Duties:
- Communicate regularly with Directors to receive assignments, updates on priorities, and to report on and review current projects and issues.
- Prepare the annual marketing budget and marketing strategy in consultation with the Marketing Director.
- Organize and attend international education fairs and agent fairs to recruit new students and agents within assigned markets.
- Liaise with local and international student recruitment agencies and industry associations.
- Plan, attend, and follow up on agent visits for assigned markets.
- Provide outstanding customer service to prospective and current customers by ensuring timely responses—within 24 hours—via email, phone, Zoom, Teams, and social media platforms.
- Respond to inquiries from Portuguese-speaking applicants and provide information on college programs, services, application procedures, and admission requirements.
- Manage the full cycle of student enrollment and follow-ups.
- Review program pricing and gross margin goals annually and establish pricing for new programs.
- Develop promotional materials, including brochure content, website content, newsletters, agent manuals, special promotions, and gifts for assigned markets.
- Develop, organize, and support summer, winter, and customized programs requested by agents, in consultation with the Marketing Director.
- Research (or delegate research) and analyze current industry trends and competitor activities.
- Stay up to date with industry developments through education fairs, newsletters, trade journals, surveys, networking, association meetings, and news, and apply this knowledge to marketing strategies.
- Maintain and update the marketing database, agent contracts, and agent information, ensuring agents receive up-to-date promotional materials.
- Provide assistance to other departments as needed and communicate relevant issues to appropriate staff.
- Ensure VanWest College maintains a high level of student and agent satisfaction.
- Provide information and orientation to students, walk-ins, agents, and visitors as required.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with agents, students, partners, and colleagues on a regular basis.
- Provide Portuguese-to-English translation for student surveys and student or agent inquiries when required.
- Act as a liaison between Admissions, Administrative staff, Student Advisors, teachers, and Marketing regarding admissions-related matters.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to meet annual recruitment targets through multiple recruitment channels.
- Schedule and follow up on trial lessons by meeting prospective students and providing feedback to referring agents.
- Address student concerns in consultation with the Marketing, Academic, and Operations Directors.
- Maintain confidential records of meetings.
- Attend staff meetings and provide updates on marketing activities.
- Maintain company confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or marketing.
- Experience working in language schools preferred.
- Experience working with student recruitment agencies preferred.
- Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proficient in spoken and written Portuguese and English.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to prepare, organize, and deliver presentations effectively.
- Knowledge of other cultures and languages is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
