Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our clients premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or damage through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. PLEASE NOTE: This is an OVERNIGHT POSITION.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety compliance
  • Driving a company vehicle and representing SK Security Services
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies with appropriate action
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, if applicable or warranted.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential security vulnerabilities

Requirements

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
  • Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during emergencies
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • MUST HOLD A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND SECURITY LICENSE.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.35-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
