Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, wire, test, program, and trouble shoot microprocessor-based Edwards fire alarm systems
  • Program, test, troubleshoot, and adjust systems as directed
  • Interconnect assemblies using proper wiring techniques
  • Pull parts from stock for projects and maintain accurate records of stock requisitions and part shipments
  • Maintain work and stock areas in a clean and organized manner
  • Observe all industrial and safety rules
  • Responsible for verifying projects are assembled as per design details and regulatory standards
  • Use of hand tools and test equipment to perform job duties (multimeters, soldering iron, wire strippers, etc.)
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • CFAA considered a strong asset
  • 2 years' experience in fire alarm systems, electronics or a related field
  • Post-Secondary Education in Electronic Technician Program, Power Engineering, Electrical or equivalent
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Programs, and basic PLC programming

Wage: $59,000 to $70,000/annum CAD
