Overview

We are seeking a friendly, professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse clientele. Experience in hotel front desk operations and familiarity with multi-line phone systems are preferred. The Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person using proper phone etiquette
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
  • Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently to address guest requests and internal communications
  • Assist guests with special requests or concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Uphold hospitality standards by delivering exceptional guest services at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in front desk or hotel guest services preferred; hospitality background is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and guest service protocols is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Previous experience with hospitality software or property management systems is beneficial
