About The Firm
This Surrey based architectural practice has operated for more than forty years and is well known across the Lower Mainland for reliable project delivery and long term client relationships. • Review shop drawings, submittals and mockups for envelope, structural and interior systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams and consultants to resolve issues affecting timelines or constructability
  • Support architectural drawings and assist with permit and construction document packages as required
  • Attend site meetings, client meetings and consultant coordination sessions with a solutions oriented approach
  • Apply strong understanding of BCBC, VBBL and municipal requirements throughout design and construction
  • Maintain proactive communication across clients, contractors and internal project teams

Qualifications

  • Architectural Technology diploma or Bachelors or Masters of Architecture
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in construction administration or on site project coordination
  • Experience with multifamily mid rise, wood frame townhomes, single family homes or small commercial projects
  • Strong technical understanding of residential & commercial construction and local building codes
  • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD and ability to review detailed documentation
  • Confident communicator with strong coordination and problem solving abilities
  • Organized, reliable and proactive with a collaborative approach to project delivery

What Is On Offer

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package
  • A collaborative, steady and mentorship driven studio culture
  • Meaningful involvement on diverse residential and commercial projects
  • Opportunities to expand technical leadership and on site experience within a respected practice
