Role Overview

Seeking a Network Security Engineer to support security engineering and deployment activities within a global environment. This role will support a cloud secure web gateway migration and ongoing administration of network security infrastructure, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and supporting incident response, vulnerability remediation, and secure cloud-first services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and administer network security infrastructure to meet security and compliance standards
  • Coordinate network security operations, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Support and report on network security incidents and operational issues
  • Assess vulnerability reports, determine impact, and deploy fixes or compensating controls
  • Collaborate with technology teams to assess risk and ensure secure solutions
  • Support migration activities from on-prem proxy environments to cloud proxy platforms
  • Apply network security best practices across design and implementation efforts

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Ethernet and IP networks
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux internals, ACLs, and OS-level security protections
  • 3+ years of experience with network security principles, protocols, and architectures (SWG, SSE, ZTA)
  • 3+ years of experience implementing network security tools (proxy servers, IDS/IPS, anti-DDoS)
  • Strong collaboration and critical thinking skills

  • Scripting experience (Python, Shell, Perl)
  • Cloud experience (IaaS/PaaS)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Security+, CISSP)
