About the Role

Pinochio Crepes & Waffles is looking for a friendly, fast, and reliable Cashier / Food Prep Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll interact with customers, prepare food items, and help keep the store running smoothly.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love desserts, and take pride in great customer service—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Cash Handling

  • Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
  • Operate POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming customer experience

Food Preparation

  • Prepare crepes, waffles, beverages, and desserts according to brand standards
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures at all times
  • Assist with food prep, portioning, and restocking

Store Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness of front counter, prep area, and dining space
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in food service or cashier role is an asset (not mandatory)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Availability for evenings and weekends
