Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Attendant/Food Prep to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food industry, develop customer service skills, and work in a dynamic setting. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Permanent and long-term employment available.
  • Monday to Friday 10am-4pm, and Sunday.
  • Able to show Leadership in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude a must
  • Well Organized, attention to detail and cleanliness. - Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Prepare and serve food items according to customer preferences and company standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to guarantee safety and quality
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
  • Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining a tidy work area
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environment preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks
  • Good time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if needed
