We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join us as a Physiotherapy Assistant on a 1-year temporary contract in a casual, Monday–Friday position.

Position Overview:

This dual role supports both the clinical and administrative sides of the practice. The ideal candidate will assist our physiotherapists with treatment-related tasks while also ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physiotherapists with non-clinical tasks during treatment sessions
  • Guide clients through prescribed exercises under supervision
  • Set up and clean treatment areas
  • Maintain equipment and treatment rooms
  • Provide support and encouragement to clients during sessions

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a physiotherapy, healthcare, or customer service setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable with basic computer systems and scheduling software
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional standards
