We are urgently hiring a Physiotherapist to start within the next 1–2 weeks.

The successful candidate will take over an existing full-time caseload and step into a supportive, well-structured clinical environment.

Overview:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time physiotherapist to join our team at Horton Park Physiotherapy located in SW Calgary, Alberta Our team is made up of physiotherapists and massage therapists, providing both in-home and on-site care to patients in Calgary and surrounding areas.

Job Description:

The physiotherapist is responsible for the completion of professional activities that include assessment, treatment, education and management of clients requiring physiotherapist intervention. Because our client offers both on-site and in-home care, access to a reliable vehicle is required.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in physiotherapy from an accredited institution

  • Current License in good standing from the province of Alberta

  • Valid Certificate of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support for a Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPA/AED) Level C

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document informed consent for assessment and treatment

  • Deliver physiotherapy a rehabilitation interventions in accordance with applicable regulatory standards and scope of practice.

  • Provide assessment and treatment of various conditions. Nature of conditions or treatments may include (but are not limited to): Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Concussion, TMJ and Vestibular.

  • Prescribe exercises to optimally rehabilitate/prevent injury and promote fitness.

  • Provide in-home care when necessary and work independently to schedule assigned patients.

  • Monitor patient progress, submit progress reports, adjust treatment where necessary and discharge when treatment is complete.
