Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Coordinator to join Steinberg Santé. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This role involves managing appointment scheduling, patient communications, and administrative tasks within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience in medical office procedures, along with proficiency in electronic medical records, is highly valued. The Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting both patients and staff to maintain efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using practice management software such as Medesync
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment requests
  • Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
  • Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of medical information
  • Coordinate communication between patients, and other staff members
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence related to patient care

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a medical receptionist preferred
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally and efficiently
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients and team members
  • Office experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion
