JOB TITLE: PLANT CONTROLLER

REPORTS TO: CORPORATE CONTROLLER

JOB FUNCTION:

In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the
Plant Controller
is responsible for planning and directing the accounting operations at our Delduca location. Reporting to the
Corporate Controller
, the
Plant Controller
will ensure all financial goals and objectives will be met or exceeded.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements and maintains a system of local internal controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk and comply with SyBridge Corporate policies and auditor requirements
  • Oversees the production of monthly financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
  • Produces the annual budget and rolling forecasts; then performs monthly fluctuation analysis to actual results and reports significant budget/forecast differences to management
  • Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
  • Work with team to ensure customer invoicing is timely and accurate
  • Ensure all receivables are collected in the approved credit terms
  • Attend the weekly spend and weekly production/forecasting meetings
  • Ensure all WIP/Unbilled has the appropriate documentation (Purchase Orders, LOI, etc.)
  • Ensure Revenue Recognition policies are adhered to and all supporting documentation is maintained
  • Ensure all government submissions are prepared accurately by deadlines
  • Review the biweekly payroll input and correct any discrepancies found
  • Identify and recommend any accounting and costing process improvements to the Corporate Controller
  • Analyze financial data for accuracy and involve appropriate personnel to ensure discrepancies are resolved
  • Maintain general ledger including verifying account numbers, reconcile accounts, prepare monthly journal entries and other duties as required
  • Manage vendor relationships from both a cost control and payment standpoint
  • Must maintain confidentiality of all information received from customers, suppliers or SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

COLLABORATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS RESPONSIBILITIES
:

  • Works closely with the Corporate Controller and Operations to achieve strong financial reporting adherence within tight timeframes
  • Develops professional relationships with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audit

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

  • Ten years or more of related experience required,
  • manufacturing experience Required
  • Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
