Sutherland-Schultz is seeking a driven Project Coordinator to assist with managing our projects. Our ideal candidate will be situated in London Region or the surrounding area. We are looking for a Coordinator that will constantly strive to provide excellent service to our customers, and our project management team.

Functions of the Job:

  • Assist in preparing schedules and manpower loading requirements
  • Attend and complete meeting minutes at job site meetings
  • Routinely evaluate budgeted to actual costs and communicate with the project management team
  • Communicate constantly, effectively, and accurately throughout the project with the Foreman, Project Manager/Estimator, Customer, Subcontractor, and Supplier
  • Prepare purchase orders and change orders as directed by the project management team
  • Integrate change orders into the schedule and ongoing work
  • Prepare maintenance manuals as required

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • 3+ years experience as a Mechanical Project Coordinator, experience with a General Contractor preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft, including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, & Project
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • High level of initiative and keen interest in construction and problem solving
