Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings using AutoCAD
- Translate architectural drawings, design concepts, and specifications into fabrication-ready drawings
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and assembly drawings
- Incorporate AWMAC standards, hardware requirements, materials, and finishes
- Coordinate drawings with Project Management, Estimating, Production, and Installation teams
- Revise drawings based on internal review, client comments, and site conditions
- Assist with RFIs, clarifications, and drawing submissions as required
- Maintain organized digital drawing files and revision control
- Support production by providing clear, accurate information for fabrication and installation
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience drafting custom millwork or cabinetry (commercial preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Microvellum or similar is an asset)
- Strong understanding of millwork construction methods, materials, and hardware
- Familiarity with AWMAC standards and commercial construction documents
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Type: Full-time
